I’ve read the head lines of a lot of nut case posts about plots and conspiracies. Please. I’m sure mistakes were made. We all make mistakes every day. I don’t have time to read that trash.

This was an act of hate by two mis-guided kids. Their act of hate has generated more love from all over the world for runners and for Boston. We feel it, we appreciate it. We are just burying our dead, so the healing has not really begun yet.

Running seems to have an extra meaning to it now. I know it’s a cliché, but there are people who do not have legs anymore. My hamstring hurts? There are people who wish they still had theirs.

I’ve registered for my fall marathon and will run a slew of races this season. I am not afraid. I am more determined than ever to BQ though.
